Another young rapper coming from the Volta Region called Tyme gets the OS Family front-liner; Chief One GH, on a new song titled ‘Dokonekporge’ produced by 1Beatz.
Tyme is signed to a growing music group known as Myco Music and this single is off his upcoming EP dubbed “Rumorz” ready to be released soon. I have observed Chief One GH for some time and I have noticed his approach to Hiplife/Hiphop is exceptional and I think I can hear a similar thing with Tyme as well.
They sort of have an unusual style of delivery and using the Ewe language mixed with the English sort of feel like a new movement altogether. If these guys master what they are doing now, I believe they will be able to create a new trend or style of music other may follow as well. According to Tyme, the word ‘Dokonekporge’ literally means “You Go See” and it talks about people who will smile right in front of you but frown the moment you turn away.
There are probably getting ready to give us more surprises and more collaborations. Loud Sound GH cannot confirm what is next on their list; but we know these guys are up tosomething for the year.
