Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has disclosed that he has left issues of security for his upcoming Bhim Concert dubbed: ‘Epistle Of Mama Album Release Edition’ to the management of Zylofon Media.
According to him, whatever assurances he will give about safe security at the event on Friday would not make any difference.
It is the responsibility of Zylofon Media to make sure everyone is safe and he believes that the record label’s earlier experience with security is enough for it to prepare adequately.
“I can give the best of words but the action does not lie with me. It lies with the security people and zylofon Media who is organising the event,” he told NEWS-ONE when he was asked about security preparations toward the concert.
A couple of months ago during Stonebwoy’s ‘Ashaiman To The World Concert’ in Ashaiman, his wife allegedly got stabbed when he was going on stage. The incident raised of a lot of questions, with many condemning security for the event.
But Stonebwoy has openly indicated that he believes his label and organisers have learnt from their mistakes.
This year’s Bhim Concert is set to take place on December 22 at Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) . It promises to be exciting as Zylofon Media takes charge with the organisation of the second edition of the concert.
Some of the artistes on the bill for the concert are Rocky Dawuni, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Joyce Blessing, Samini, VVIP, Joey B, Kojo Funds, Kofi Kinaata, Kelvyn Boy, Eden, Mugeez, Yaa Pono and King Promise.
